Here at the Vaillant Live, your safety is our priority and we work with a range of partners, including Derbyshire Police, to ensure that your visit is safe and enjoyable.

All of our staff, from our highly-trained security team to our customer services representatives play a vital role in keeping visitors safe and furthermore, they're supported by a range of security measures which are in operation around the clock, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

Do summer safely

We are working with Counter Terrorism Policing to help keep everyone safe this summer. We are supporting their summer campaign, encouraging the public to stay alert and report anything that doesn’t feel right to security.

We all have a role to play in keeping each other safe. Your safety is our priority.

You can play your part by trusting your instincts, and if you see something that doesn’t feel right, tell security. Our teams will take every report seriously. You won’t be wasting their time.

Here are some quick tips to help you have a safe and enjoyable time:

  • Arrive early, allowing more time for security checks and measures
  • Be patient with security checks. It might seem inconvenient, but they are in place to help you.
  • Keep it simple and minimise what you carry. Fewer bags to search will speed up entry.
  • Stay alert and look out for each other. If you see something that doesn’t feel right, tell security. Don’t leave it to someone else.
  • Don’t leave bags unattended. Never agree to look after a stranger’s bag, no matter how genuine they seem.
  • If there is an incident, listen to staff and any announcements.

In an emergency, always call 999.

Have an amazing time, and if you see something that doesn’t feel right, report it to security straight away. Thank you for playing your part.

CTP Summer 2026

We take the safety and security of all our visitors very seriously. If you're coming to the arena for a show, please ensure you arrive in plenty of time to pass through our security checks and familiarise yourself with our security information below.

In addition to the high visibility security measures in place, we also employ a range of less visible methods to keep you safe and work with a number of partners who are experts in their field, such as CCTV operatives, drug detection dog handlers and specialist crowd management personnel.

We work in close partnership with police to ensure your safety and security. You may see Derbyshire Police here carrying out Project Servator deployments. These are highly visible, unpredictable deployments, designed to disrupt a range of criminality, including terrorism. They involve officers specially-trained to spot the tell-tale signs that someone may be planning or preparing to commit a crime. On some deployments, police dogs and armed officers will be involved. The officers liaise with our staff and love to talk to our visitors about what they are doing, so feel free to chat to them.

Find out more about Project Servator here.

You can help to keep us all safe by reporting anything that doesn’t feel right. Don’t ever be concerned about reporting anything that doesn’t feel right, no matter how minor you think it is. Trust your instincts and we will do the rest.
